How We Got Started

Our love for guinea pigs started in our tiny one bed apartment. With endless research and trial and error, we learned first-hand how guinea pigs behave and interact, what they eat and how their diets are balanced, how much space is needed and the amount of exercise and floor time is needed for a happy, healthy, and long life. With veterinarian help, we learned how to medically help guinea pigs as well. Having much need for more space for our guinea pigs and us, we eventually bought a house. Now the entire basement is dedicated to guinea pig rescue and care. 

Year 2020 hit.... After finding homes for over 150 guinea pigs, we had to close, but now we are looking to get back in the game! And doing it right!
